Meet Mandy

Mandy Moon’s origins came out of New Orleans as a singer/songwriter project by Mandy Wright in 2004. Her influences of soul and rhythm & blues were born through listening to live music that echoed throughout the city.

An organic collaboration of voice and songs began when she started singing at the age of 6 and then picking up the guitar at 15. She graduated college in 2013 from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors of Music in Studio Engineering with an emphasis in Voice as her instrument. Being a trained vocalist, she is versatile and loves the ability to crossover genres of music such as R&B, Pop, Jazz and Soul. Mandy creates music that is soulful, driven, authentic, and emotional to help understand and process the many spectrums of the human experience. No subject is off the table to write or sing about.

For several years, Mandy was playing in the South Florida music scene with her band. In December 2015, She released a single with her group “Why Can’t I Breathe”. The time came to challenge herself creatively. She decided to move to Nashville in summer of 2016 to pursue her career. The day before her move, she debuted her newest single “Lie To Me”, on Balcony TV Miami in May 2016. Finally after a few years living in Music City, Mandy recorded and released her latest EP “Passing Through” by successfully raising $4,000 through Indie Go Go in 2019. Her single, "Quarantine Song" was released in the Summer of 2020 and was all produced and recorded remotely from her home studio and producer's studio in Florida.

She is currently living in Nashville, Tennessee and continuing her journey of making music and performing with her band. Her latest single “Drive” was released in November 2022 with plans for more singles and a full length album by Summer 2023
